Ad Guidelines and Deadline Information
  1. Purchase an event sponsorship by clicking on its “Select” button in the “Purchase  Sponsorships” tab. Following your purchase, you will receive an email receipt.
     
  2. If your purchase includes a journal ad, during checkout, you will be prompted to upload an ad or you can provide copy for creation of your ad by our journal specialists. Note: For inclusion in the event presentation, furnish your materials on or before April 6, 2016. Early submissions are posted within days and receive more exposure on the highly trafficked Event Journal website!
     
  3. Following your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email. Embedded in that email is a link where you can return to submit your ad and/or ad materials at a later time. This email can be forwarded to your marketing department or ad agency for direct submission of the ad via the link to the online system.

  5. Whether you use the online ad submission feature or submit materials directly to the WPU Foundation, choose from one of these two easy options:

OPTION #1:  "Camera-Ready"

  • Full Page Ad: 6" (Wide) x 4" (High) in dimension, high-res (300 dpi or greater) format (live area: 5.5" x 3.5"; font: 8pt min.)*
  • Half Page Ad: 3" (Wide) x 4" (High) in dimension, high-res (300 dpi or greater) format (live area: 2.5" x 3.5"; font: 8pt min.)*
  • Business Cards Ad: 3.5” (Wide) x 2” (High) in dimension, high-res (300 dpi or greater) format (live area: 2.75" x 1.75"; font: 8pt min.)*
  • Provide company logo for online ad banner (if applicable to your purchase)
  • Format: preferably .jpg or .psd, and we accept .pdf
  • Send company web address to link ad to your website
    (if applicable to your purchase)

OPTION #2:  We Create Your Ad

  • Graphics: Send logo, photo or any illustration you would like incorporated into your ad
    (.jpg, .pdf preferred)
  • Copy: Read the description of the ad level you have purchased.  Submit copy that may include a congratulatory message, company contact info, etc. in a Microsoft Word document or using the online ad submission copy box
  • Provide company logo for online ad banner (if applicable to your purchase)
  • Send company web address to link ad to your website
    (if applicable to your purchase)

*Please Note: Although these specs may seem atypical for the web, we also use the file for a PowerPoint Presentation at the event that requires high resolution for optimal clarity.

DUE DATE FOR AD SUBMISSIONS:
Ads or ad content should be submitted within one week of purchase date for maximum online exposure in the pre-event period. Final deadline for inclusion in the journal slide presentation at the event is
Wednesday, April 6, 2016.
Ads received after that date will be posted for online viewing only.
